Manages claims from time reported until resolution. Works in a team environment with technical specialists, supervisor, claim manager and affiliate representatives. Partners with medical providers, and risk management professionals to ensure integration of claim issues.Job DescriptionCandidate must come on site as needed and live in the Northern California Sutter Health footprint.Education[Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma]Bachelor'sCertification & LicensureSIP Certificate exam within 36 months of hireSuccessful completion of an IEA Certificate within 18 months of hireTypical Experience5 years recent relevant experience.Skills And KnowledgeDemonstrates thorough knowledge of California Workers’ Compensation law.Must have on the job and classroom training, experience and knowledge surrounding California’s Labor Code, estimating workers’ compensation costs, permanent disability rating and medical terminology.Proven oral and written communication skills.
