From healthcare facilities to corporate headquarters, retail centers to high end residential, White Construction approaches every project with remarkable attention to detail, offering our clients and partners the step-above service that has kept them coming back since 1971.\n\nEstimator Responsibilities:\nDemonstrated, on multiple projects, expertise in all aspects of project estimating from project pre-planning thru commissioning/closeout.\n\nProven track record of successful estimating performance as measured by internal customer satisfaction, absence of project disputes based on budget/estimating problems, profitability, timely completion, project documentation, project transition from estimating to operations and estimating staff development.\n\nAnalyze architectural plans, blueprints, and project specifications to prepare accurate estimates for drywall projects.\n\nCollaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to gather necessary information and data.\n\nCalculate material quantities and labor costs required for each project.\n\nEvaluate and select appropriate materials and construction methods to ensure cost-efficiency and quality.\n\nPrepare detailed and competitive bids and proposals for clients.\n\nCommunicate effectively with clients, architects, and contractors to address questions and provide clarifications.\n\nStay updated on industry trends and pricing to ensure competitive and accurate estimates.\n\nEducation/Certification Requirements:\nBachelor’s degree from an accredited four-yea r college or university in Construction related field.\n\nExcellent writing, communica tion, and organization skills.\n\nPositive, enthusiastic, and energetic attitude.\n\nSelf-starter, results driven and able to work independently.\n\nAbility to develop and maintain effect ive relationships with a broad gr oup of stakeholde rs to foster trust and partnership.\n\nAbility to multi-task and is comfortable working in a deadline-driven environment.\n\nThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by the employee assigned to this position.
