Office Clerk Fayetteville, TN 37334Overview Salary Range $14.28 - $15.87 Hourly Position Type Part Time Education Level High SchoolDescription The employee works under the supervision of the CRPP Director. The employee performs services to assist in the daily operations of the CRPP Office. These services include working with customers, providing visitors with information, etc.Flexible working hours (Normal work hours are 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., but this position may require some evening and weekend work hours). Normal sitting and movement in an office environment and occasional home visits. May require occasional moving and lifting up to +/-30 pounds, bending, stooping, or climbing. The work will be performed mainly indoors in an office environment, but there may be exposure to tobacco smoke, dirt, dust, and foul odors.Requires travel to counties within the thirteen county service area for meetings and other job-related activities. Will require some travel for training outside the thirteen county area and occasional overnight travel.Essential Functions Of The Job:Answer the telephone, take messages and return calls in a professional mannerCommunicate messages to appropriate staffAssist with customer's information requestAssist with visitor information requestOpening and organizing mailAssist CRPP as needed with clerical duties (filing, scanning, copying, etc.)Review and update client files dailyMaintain confidentiality at all times regarding all informationAdhere to SCHRA Personnel Policies & ProceduresQualifications Graduation from a standard high school with supplemental courses in general office practices or related social services experience.Driver's License and Automobile Liability InsuranceAbility to establish a professional and effective working relationship with the public and other employeesAbility to understand and follow oral and written instructionAbility to work independently on moderately difficult or complex tasksAbility to use computers, calculators, fax machines and other office equipmentAbility to communicate with persons of any economic level regardless of race, color, creed, religion, or national originKnowledge of business English and arithmeticAbility to speak and communicate wellWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit; stand; stoop; bend; walk; talk; hear; use hands to grip; reach with hands and arms, required to stand or walk on uneven surfaces; climb stairs and lift up to 30lbs daily.
