This is a physically demanding and rewarding position that requires quick thinking, teamwork, and the ability to perform under pressure.\n\nThe Security Chief position reports directly to the Site Manager.\n\nAt Marksman Security, we encourage our core values of Integrity, Service, Commitment, Drive and Innovation.\n*Minimum of 3 years previous management experience required*\nResponsibilities:\n401K\nInsurance: medical, vision and dental\nShort term disability\nCritical care/Hospital Indemnity\nComplimentary life insurance\nPet insurance\nLegal assistance/guidance\nIdentity theft protection\nPaid training\nPaid time off\nCompetitive compensation\nCareer advancement opportunities\nEmployee referral bonus program\nEmployee assistance program (EAP)\nContinuous learning opportunities through LMS\nEmployee recognition events\nEmployee performance incentives/rewards\nProfessional growth and development opportunities\n#SAN\nQualifications:\nEssential Job Functions:\nUnderstand and follow all standard operating procedures\nRequired to be the lead trainer supporting OJT, day to day officer training and knowledgeable/ experience of the security operations center\nObserve and report all suspicious activity\nFollow the Emergency Action and Communications Plans and all Standard Operating Operating Procedures for emergencies\nMaintain compliance with Customs Trade Partnership Against Terrorism and Foreign Trade Zone (where applicable)\nCompletes incident reports as required\nAttend weekly, monthly meeting as requested by Security Management\nConduct interviews/ hiring\nConduct post inspections\nCreate training schedules for new hire officers\nDetermine new hire requirements and training requirements\nEnsure that all contracted hours of coverage are met\nEnsure that all regulatory compliance and records are available to NASEM\nParticipate in site and community events an training that supports facility initiatives\nProvide instruction and guidance for all officers\nRecruit, staff and train in accordance switch NASEM requirements\nSupervise Lieutenants and Sergeants and daily security operations\nComplete officer timesheets and payroll\nCoordinates officer supply/ uniform needs\nCoordinates officer vacation / time -off requests\nCoordinates fleet maintenance program\nCoordinates and provides oversight for the VIP tour operations\nOversees I.S state and company flag maintenance / replacement\nCoordinates fire system inspection/ maintenance\nWhere applicable, coordinate and schedule security/emergency response officer to conduct monthly shop inspections, and work with fire management\nManages random bag check schedule\nMange lock and key control\nManage lost and found\nLiaison for local Law Enforcement tours, training or exercise events and orientation\nMonitor weather alerts through SkyGuard or other notification systems and make appropriate notifications\nEnsure that all regulatory compliance and records are available to NASEM\nProvide instruction and guidance on use of security systems for all officers\nEscalates Security/Fire/Safety issues to Site Manager immediately\n\nRequirements:\nAt least three (3) years’ experience in a supervisory role.\nAt least three (3) years’ experience in either Security, Law Enforcement, Military, Fire Service, or Emergency Management.\nValid Driver's License and clean driving history (Required)\nAbility to adjust working hours to support the leadership team\nIntermediate Microsoft Office skills and any supplier programs\nBe able to effectively communicate orally and in writing with client leadership\nBe available to receive and implement orders or instructions from the client that affect the security officers' operations\nValid driver’s license\nValid State of Texas security license, or ability to obtain within 2 – weeks\nAbility to adjust working hours to support the leadership team.\nProfessional demeanor and appearance\nExcellent computer skills (Microsoft Office -
