EHSS Industrial Hygienist3 Key Consulting is hiring an EHSS Industrial Hygienist Specialist for a consulting engagement with our direct client, a leading global biopharmaceutical company.The Environment, Health, Safety and Sustainability (EHSS) Manager will drive world class EHSS performance across the site in a diverse biotech/pharma environment. The role will be responsible for the execution of key EHSS processes including:Continuous improvement of industrial hygiene (IH) and ergonomics across siteTrending and analysis of EHSS information and provide data intelligence and actionsProvide IH and ergonomic support for new facilities and projects as part of EHSS Design ReviewProvide subject matter expertise for several EHSS programs including IH and ergonomicsPrimary responsibilities include:Establish and execute risk assessment plans to ensure risks are proactively addressed and controls are implementedAnalyze metrics and establish annual action plans to drive continuous improvementMonitor incident trends and assist in conducting incident investigationsEnsure hazards are identified and risks are proactively assessedEnsure changes with potential safety impact are assessed and controls are established prior to implementationPartner with clients to advance safety culture and manage EHSS risksConduct regular inspections of work areasPreferred qualifications:Experience in supporting industrial programs with focus on biological safetySafety experience in research environmentsCertified Industrial Hygienist (CIH)Strong understanding of chemical and biological manufacturing and laboratory operationsKnowledgeable in office, industrial and laboratory ergonomicsExperience implementing and supporting industrial hygiene and ergonomic programsDemonstrated ability to lead diverse teams and influence managementStrong communication and presentation skills, action oriented, self-starting, program development and project managementStrong technical writing skillsProficient in Microsoft Office and other computer software systemsTop must-have skill sets:R&D experienceCIH preferredMust be ok with working in the Field (Very hands on)Onsite everydayPM experienceDay to day responsibilities:Continuous improvement of industrial hygiene (IH) and ergonomics across siteTrending and analysis of EHSS information and provide data intelligence and actionsProvide IH and ergonomic support for new facilities and projects as part of EHSS Design ReviewProvide subject matter expertise for several EHSS programs including IH and ergonomicsEmployee value proposition:The person at this role will have the opportunity to work in R&D and pharma.
