This role guides sponsorship initiatives, supports marketing campaigns, and participates in special events and annual committees to strengthen Spring Forward’s financial strength, community engagement and organizational visibility.\nKey Roles (Essential Job Responsibilities)\nFundraising & Donor Management:\nLead in creating and implementing Spring Forward’s annual fundraising plan in collaboration with the Executive Director.\nLead grant application process, including initial drafting and collaborative refinement\nManage donor database (Bloomerang), ensuring data accuracy and timely gift entry\nAdminister the gift acknowledgment process, including writing and sending thank-you letters and receipts.\nMaintain current lists of active and prospective sponsors, donors, grants and deadlines.\nCoordinate meetings, deadlines, and project timelines related to development activities.\nMaintain fundraising calendars.\nAssist with check processing, deposits, and financial tracking for development activities.\nResearch prospective grant opportunities and new funding sources.\nSupport donor stewardship.\nEngage with the community to develop new donors and supporters\nSeeks out and develops new ideas to build the organization’s financial strength\nMaintain secure records for login credentials and technology instructions.\nCoordinate reports for funders, stakeholders, and the Board of Directors, as needed.\nSponsorship Development\nDevelop, lead and execute a comprehensive corporate sponsorship strategy plan.\nCultivate and steward relationships with current and prospective corporate partners to ensure long-term retention and engagement.\nProactively maintain and expand a prospect list of businesses and community sponsors.\nCreate and manage an outreach calendar to ensure timely and professional engagement with all potential sponsors.\nWork with Marketing to draft, design, and present compelling sponsorship materials tailored to specific organizational needs.\nEvent Coordination:\nCollaborate in planning and execution of fundraising and community events.\nAssist with event logistics including communications, exploring and securing vendors, volunteers, and promoting ticket sales and event registrations.\nContribute to securing auction items.\nMarketing & Communications:\nContribute to and assist in managing Spring Forward’s Newsletters, Fundraising Appeal, Social media presence, and Website content.\nAssists with publicity and communication efforts to raise community awareness.\nGeneral Professional Responsibilities:\nCommunicate positively, respectfully, and effectively at all times.\nContribute to and guide your own workplan, meeting all stated deadlines.\nParticipate in staff meetings and training opportunities.\nFollow and uphold all protocols as described in the Spring Forward Employee Handbook.\nSkills/Knowledge Required\nBachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience in Development/Fundraising.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nComputer proficiency in Google Workspace, AI, Canva, and Mailchimp\nFamiliarity with CRM/fundraising databases (Bloomerang) preferred.\nStrong attention to detail\nAbility to maintain strict confidentiality regarding donor and financial information.\nSelf-motivated with the ability to manage multiple projects independently.\nFlexible and adaptable;
