We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager.\r\nPay range is $110,000 to $150,000 annually (depending on experience/knowledge/skills)\r\nLocation: onsite in Carson, CA\r\nIn this position, you would be a key part of the senior executive team, working with Sales, Operations, Engineering, Quality, Marketing and external Customers. We are seeking a highly motivated and proactive Project Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong get things done attitude, demonstrating the ability to drive projects to successful completion with minimal required supervision. This role demands excellent organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results on time and within budget.\r\nProject Execution:Take full ownership of projects from initiation to completion, ensuring all deliverables meet quality standards and deadlines.\r\nIndependent Decision-Making:Exhibit strong decision-making capabilities to address challenges and obstacles promptly, maintaining project momentum without the need for constant oversight.\r\nProactive Problem-Solving:Anticipate potential issues and develop innovative solutions proactively, ensuring smooth project progression.\r\nTeam Collaboration:Foster a collaborative work environment, effectively coordinating with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.\r\nStakeholder Communication:Maintain clear and consistent communication with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and milestones.\r\nResource Management:Efficiently allocating and managing resources, optimizing productivity and project outcomes.\r\nContinuous Improvement:Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance project management efficiency.\r\nQualifications:\r\n4-5 years of proven experience as a Project Manager in hardware development, factory operations, or engineering-focused project management, preferably in the LED design and manufacturing industry overseeing key projects from start to finish, from initial research to execution.\r\nStrong organizational and time management skills, with a track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously.\r\nManage the day-to-day activities of projects, communicate with project teams as necessary to ensure project deliverables are on schedule.\r\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate teams.\r\nProviding status reports to all stakeholders including the COO.\r\nManaging project scope and escalating issues where necessary.\r\nA proactive mindset with a strong focus on problem-solving and achieving results.\r\nAbility to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure.\r\nMake recommendations to management about schedules, prioritization, and resource allocation with input from team members.\r\nFamiliarity with project management software and tools.\r\nPreferred Attributes:\r\nA natural self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment.\r\nDemonstrates a strong sense of ownership and accountability.\r\nAbility to adapt to changing priorities and requirements.\r\nAbility to handle a large variety of details and to work with all levels of organization.\r\nProficiently utilize MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and SharePoint.\r\nNice-to-haves:\r\nLighting or consumer electronics industry experience\r\nBilingual (Chinese and English)\r\nCompany Description\r\nDMF Lighting designs and builds industry-leading LED downlighting that sets the standard for flexibility, performance, and quality.
