Job DescriptionPosition: Full-Time - Rodman / Field TechnicianLocation: Georgetown, TX (Center of Town)Work Hours: 7 AM - 3 PM, Monday through FridayHolidays: Off on major holidaysBenefits: Health insurance available after 90 days, PTO, and potential overtimeJob Responsibilities:Clearing brushCarrying the rod from point to point for stakingSetting control with tripod and various surveying equipmentLoading and unloading survey equipment and supplies into trucks for daily job dutiesAssisting members of the assigned survey crew with various tasksRunning the GPS and data collectorDetailed Responsibilities:Maintaining survey supplies (nails, paint, rods, flags, etc.) for the crewPerforming survey tasks as directed by the Party Chief, including:Gathering supplies, digging for corners, and cutting linesClearing obstacles for line of sight and searching for and correctly identifying monumentsPlumbing prisms for accurate measurementsMeasuring using chain, tape, or other methodsCleaning equipment, performing all other related tasks associated with field surveyingThis is an opportunity to learn a new skill.
