They handle materials from 2lbs to 1000+lbs. You will be trained on proper lifting techniques and hoist usage to hang/rig materials. Additionally, Techs keep the area free of debris and may have to assist in other departments as well.\r\nPrincipal Duties & Responsibilities:\r\nOperates fork lift and hoist to organize and distribute production material\r\nFills each work cell demand for material\r\nWashes, preps, sands and rigs parts on paint line\r\nUnderstands and follow all ISO and 5S initiatives\r\nParticipates in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals\r\nPerforms other duties as assigned\r\nProvides leadership to others through example and sharing of knowledge/skill\r\nComplies with all safety policies, practices and procedures. Reports all unsafe activities to supervisor and/or Human Resources\r\nHelp with other duty's within the paint department\r\nQualifications:\r\nPrevious experience on a sit-down, counter balance truck desired. Will complete fork lift training upon hire\r\nHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.\r\nBasic computer skills\r\nWillingness to learn safe operation of all lifting devices\r\nAbility to follow instruction on the proper preparation of material prior to and after painting\r\nAbility to work independently with little supervision\r\nLocation: 7229 W Wheeler Rd, Mapleton, IL 61547\r\nShift and Hours: 2nd 2:30 PM - 11PM\r\nStarting Pay: $16.00/ hour (+ $1/hr differential for 2nd shift)\r\nCompany Information:\r\nG&D Integrated has a rich history that dates back to the early 1880s, when freight was delivered with horse-drawn wagons.
