The ideal candidate will have the experience and skills necessary to drive the evolution, integration and support of the platform. They will also be able to consult on lab workflows, scientific computing integration and best practices.\nResponsibilities\nDesign, develop, and customize Dotmatics solutions to meet the specific needs of scientific research teams. This includes scripting, report generation, and UI/UX enhancements.\nIntegrate Dotmatics with other data management systems and lab instruments to streamline data capture, analysis, and reporting processes.\nProvide technical support to end-users, troubleshoot issues, and optimize the performance of Dotmatics applications.\nManage and ensure the integrity and security of scientific data within Dotmatics applications. Facilitate data migration and harmonization as required.\nWork closely with scientists, IT professionals, and other stakeholders to understand requirements, provide training, and implement best practices in data management and informatics.\nMaintain comprehensive documentation of customizations, workflows, and procedures. Ensure that all developments adhere to regulatory and compliance standards.\nStay updated with the latest advancements in Dotmatics and informatics tools. Propose and implement new features and functionalities to improve the platform’s usability and effectiveness.\nQualifications\nEssential Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field\nExtensive experience with Dotmatics software, including ELN, Bioregister, Studies Notebook, and other modules.\nProficiency in JavaScript, Python, or similar programming languages for customizing and automating Dotmatics workflows.\nProficiency in managing large datasets, database queries (SQL), and understanding data structures relevant to life sciences research.\nExperience with API integrations, RESTful services, and connecting Dotmatics with other laboratory and enterprise systems (e.g., LIMS, ERP).\nFamiliarity with scientific data management and analysis\nStrong problem-solving and analytical skills\nPreferred Qualifications\nPrior experience working in Life Sciences realm\nFamiliarity with other informatics platforms\nKnowledge of cheminformatics or bioinformatics\nExperience with Agile development methodologies\nAdditional information\nGreat talent should benefit from a great work environment.
