Our ideal candidate has a strong interest in pursuing this trade as a career and is excited to learn skills and gain experience to accomplish that goal.\n\nUnder the direction of a journeyman level electrician an electrical apprentice performs skilled work in the installation, maintenance and repair of electrical wiring and equipment on commercial and industrial projects. Duties include working with tools, installing conduit, wire, junction boxes, electrical lighting and other labor activities as assigned. Must keep all materials, tools, and equipment in an orderly fashion, maintain a clean work area at all times, demonstrate safe work habits and exhibit proper care of all tools and equipment. Assignments are received from, and the work is performed under the general supervision of journeyman level electricians.\n\nWhile construction experience is not required, we expect candidates to have some familiarity with hand and power tools. You must be able to follow directions, climb heights, and be willing to help with any aspect of an electrical project.
