As a Groundskeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the overall cleanliness and appearance of the community’s exterior spaces. This entry‑level role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working outdoors, staying active, and contributing to a clean and welcoming environment.\n\nGroundskeeper| Education, Experience, and License Qualifications\nEducation:\n\nHigh School or GED equivalent\n\nExperience:\n\nUnderstanding and knowledge of yardwork and general facility maintenance\n\nOne year of maintenance, repair, or HVAC experience is preferred but not required\n\nLicenses & Certifications:\n\nValid Driver's License\n\nGroundskeeper | Job Functions\nGround Responsibilities\nConduct thorough cleaning and pick-up of debris or trash throughout exterior areas of the property.\n\nMaintain cleanliness of sidewalks, breezeways, parking lots, green spaces, and community signage areas.\n\nEnsure community trash receptacles, compactor areas, and pet stations are well‑maintained and free of debris or large items around the perimeter.\n\nAssist with light landscaping tasks including raking, weeding, trimming, and watering as directed by the maintenance team.\n\nMaintain cleanliness and presentation of pool deck areas, courtyards, grilling stations, benches, and outdoor amenities.\n\nCommunity Appearance Support\nAssist the maintenance team with light painting of curbs, signposts, and exterior touch‑ups as needed.\n\nConduct light checks around the property and replace breezeway or exterior bulbs as needed.\n\nHelp maintain shop and storage areas in a clean and organized manner to support quick inventory assessment.\n\nAssist with preparation of vacant, unoccupied apartments with light cleaning or removal of debris as requested.\n\nAdditional Responsibilities\nAssist the team with the distribution of communications to residents’ doors.\n\nAssist the maintenance team with seasonal tasks including storm/snow preparation or cleanup.\n\nPromote good professional relations with residents, co‑workers, and company staff. Through the LIVE IT culture, always display a friendly and courteous attitude toward prospects, residents, vendors, and other employees.
