Role OverviewWe are seeking a Volunteer Social Media Manager who is passionate about storytelling, digital engagement, and social impact. This role is responsible for managing and growing FIGCM's social media presence across multiple platforms while aligning content with our mission, values, and organizational goals. Important Note: This is a strictly volunteer position with no monetary compensation. We encourage applicants who are comfortable contributing their skills in a service-based role. Platforms You Will ManageYouTube X (formerly Twitter) TikTok Facebook Instagram Key ResponsibilitiesManage and schedule content across all FIGCM social media platforms Develop and execute content calendars in collaboration with the Marketing & Communications Lead Create engaging posts, captions, and basic visuals aligned with FIGCM branding Monitor engagement, respond to comments and messages professionally Share impact stories, faith-based encouragement, and program updates Track basic performance metrics and provide periodic reports QualificationsExperience managing social media accounts (personal, nonprofit, or professional) Strong written communication and storytelling skills Familiarity with major social media platforms and trends Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Alignment with FIGCM's mission and values What You'll GainMeaningful experience contributing to a growing nonprofit Opportunity to make a tangible impact through digital storytelling Professional references based on performance and commitment Collaboration with a passionate, mission-driven team Time CommitmentFlexible, with an expected commitment of 5–10 hours per week
