Technical Support Specialist II
As a Technical Support Specialist II at Compex Legal Services, your primary purpose is to guide customers, both remotely and in person, through systems configuration and troubleshooting. You will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our technical systems and providing exceptional support to our staff.
Job Duties
Provide technical support to staff, assisting them with system configuration and troubleshooting both remotely and in-person.
Collaborate with the IT team to escalate and resolve complex technical problems.
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and technical issues.
Stay up-to-date with the latest technical developments and software updates.
Required Qualifications
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience:
At least 2 years of experience in a technical support role.
Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
Strong knowledge of operating systems and software applications.
Knowledge and Skills:
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
The ability to break down technological processes and deliver clear, step-by-step instructions.
Familiarity with technical support tools and software.
Patient, friendly demeanor with a great aptitude for listening.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred qualifications
Previous experience with JIRA and Confluence.
Associate's degree or higher in a related field.
Team-oriented mindset with an openness to constructive feedback.
Certifications in technical support or related areas.
Working Conditions
This is a full-time, in-office position in Torrance, CA.
You may be required to work occasional weekends or evenings to meet customer needs.
The job may involve occasional lifting of computer equipment and the ability to work in a fast-paced technical environment.
