The above represents the standard Corporate Policy.\nKey Responsibilities\n\nSupervises the performance of Control Center staff by monitoring and auditing work and effectively addressing deficiencies.\n\nDirects staff in all duties and assignments\n\nManages on-time performance of Operators by triaging issues that impact service and providing innovative and effective solutions\n\nConducts investigations into service issues, updates all stakeholders, and provides a resolution when needed\n\nHandles escalated calls and service issues by identifying the root cause and taking decisive and effective action to address it.\n\nCoordinates with all stakeholders and provides superior customer support\n\nEnsures adequate Control Center coverage by creating and adjusting staff schedules and ensuring schedule adherence\n\nServes as the backup to the Project Manager\n\nAssists with tracking time off and attendance and processing payroll\n\nAttends stakeholder meetings and serves as the point of contact in the Project Manager's absence\n\nAccurately completes reports and audits according to the established requirements and deadlines\n\nOther duties as assigned\n\nQualifications\n\nHigh School Diploma or GED; Technical Degree preferred.\n\n3 years+ of supervisory experience\n\nExcellent verbal, interpersonal and customer service skills.\n\nExcellent skills in Microsoft Office\n\nAbility to use and master specialty transit relates software programs\n\nAbility to work effectively with little to no direct supervision\n\nAbility to quickly gain a thorough understanding of routes, schedules, fare structures, rules, company policies and procedures, operator and supervisor manuals, as well as the operator labor agreement. \n\nMust possess the capability to work in a team orientated environment.\n\nProblem solving and analytical skills.\n\nAbility to type at least 35 WPM\n\nKnowledge in DOT Rules and Regulations is essential\n\nKnowledge of NTD (National Database Reporting for the FTA) is essential.\n\nKnowledge of two-way radio systems is a plus\n\nKnowledge of the Metropolitan Phoenix area is a plus\n\nKnowledge of or ability to learn working systems of buses is a plus\n\nMust be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.\n\nSubject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason. \n\nPhysical Requirements\nThe essential functions of this position require the ability to\n\nMajority of work is accomplished indoors and in air conditioned or well-ventilated facilities\n\nMajority of work is accomplished in the Control Center at a station equipped with a telephone and three computer screens, keyboard, and two-way Radio microphone\n\nThe employee is generally subjected to long periods spent sitting, typing, or looking at a computer screen.\n\nReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
