stoop, push, pull, carry, and lift as needed.\nAbility to coordinate eyes, hands, feet, and limbs in performing skilled movement.\n100% Field.\nAbility to be available for emergency outages.\nAbility to travel away from home when needed.\nPrincipal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):\nPlanning and initiating projects.\nInteraction with customers, utility owners and governmental officials.\nEstablishing and conforming to OSHA and customer safety requirements.\nAssist in the construction of new aerial and underground services and service upgrades.\nTraining and mentoring of Aerial Groundman.\nTree trimming or route clearing.\nUse of care of specialized hand tools and required equipment.\nOperating heavy equipment such as Digger and Bucket Truck.\nEducation and/or Experience:\nWork Experience: A minimum of two years’ experience as an Aerial Groundman, preferred.\nIndustry Knowledge: Thorough understanding of aerial utility installation, safety regulations and work methods associated with aerial line work.\nRequirements:\nValid Driver’s License, Class A CDL preferred.\nMust be able to pass pre-employment screenings.\nDemonstrated field experience working with Aerial crews.\nMust have a thorough knowledge of electricity, pole-line materials, the proper and safe use of tools and equipment used in line construction and maintenance, be familiar with the aerial safety codes and practices, and work methods associated with aerial line work.\nAbility to work in a team environment.\nWillingness to learn.\nAbility to maintain required equipment and tools.\nAbility to read, comprehend and carry out instructions.\nAbility to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.\nAbide all company and manufacturer safety procedures and industry safety
