In this role you will work alongside other team members and the Event Manager to help set up, execute, and breakdown events. While we primarily host weddings we also have several corporate and social events throughout the season. Candidates should possess an efficient work ethic, a friendly and professional demeanor, and be comfortable being on their feet for several hours at a time.Banquet Staff Duties and ResponsibilitiesAssist with event set up by moving and placing tables and chairsAssist with caterer with buffet preparation before and during the eventPlace linens, napkins, plates and cutlery on tables before eventAssist caterer with cookie table and replenish throughout the eventServe as bar back during event and help restock barSet up and refill water glasses during the eventBe willing to step in and bartend if neededPolish plates and silverware before eventDuring event help bus and clear tables as neededAbility to work quickly and as a team in a fast paced environmentTake guests questions and/or requests, assist in a timely and satisfactory mannerAssist with post-event clean up and tear downWork as a member of a team, communicate with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient work ethic and overall guest satisfactionBanquet Staff Requirements and QualificationsMust be at least 18 years of ageMust be able to work weekends, nights and sometimes holidaysExcellent interpersonal communication skillsOverall excellent customer servicePunctualEnergetic, motivated personalityMust have stamina, must be able to stand/walk for several hours at a timeMust be able to lift at least 30 lbs.Must have reliable transportationEqual Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
