This role involves managing multiple client engagements, providing strategic tax solutions, and leading teams to deliver high-quality results.This is not just a compliance role—the ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, client relationship management, and strategic tax planning expertise, with a clear pathway to Partner or Managing Director.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and supervise multiple client service teams on tax engagementsPlan, execute, and deliver corporate tax compliance and consulting projects across various industriesProvide innovative tax planning strategies and identify tax-saving opportunitiesManage engagement budgets, timelines, and overall project deliveryDrive business development efforts, including identifying new opportunities and expanding client relationshipsBuild and maintain strong client relationships as the primary point of contactReview complex corporate tax returns and ensure accuracy and complianceLead and review ASC 740 income tax provision engagementsResearch and consult on complex tax mattersMentor, train, and evaluate junior staff and team membersCollaborate with internal specialists, including Washington National Tax Office (WNTO)Ensure proper documentation, reporting, and compliance standardsParticipate in industry events and professional development activitiesRequired SkillsStrong experience in Corporate Income Tax Compliance & ConsultingDeep expertise in ASC 740 (Income Tax Provision)Strong knowledge of US GAAP and federal tax regulationsExperience with state & local taxation, international tax, and transfer pricingProven ability to manage multiple engagements and teamsStrong analytical, problem-solving, and technical skillsExcellent client communication and stakeholder management skillsExperience with tax technology tools (e.g., OneSource Tax Provision preferred)Ability to drive revenue growth and support business development initiativesQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting (Master’s / LLM in Taxation / JD preferred)CPA or active JD (law license) requiredMinimum 5–7+ years of progressive tax experiencePrior experience in public accounting preferredWhy This Role?Clear career progression to Partner / Managing DirectorOpportunity to work with diverse clients across industriesHigh-impact role with leadership and client ownershipCollaborative and growth-focused environmentWould you like to know more about this opportunity?
