That means we look out for one another, take pride in what we build, and take responsibility for our actions, our results, and the long-term health of the company.Guided by our core values of People, Team, Our Bond, Persistence, and Vision, we do what we say we will do, push through challenges and deliver work we're proud of.When you join Ames, you're joining a company built for long-term success - where skilled people, strong teams, and disciplined execution come together to build careers and a better future.Crushing SuperintendentLeads and manages all aspects of the crushing operation, ensuring safety, production targets, equipment performance, and crew leadership.Key Responsibilities:Oversee daily crushing activities and production schedulesEnsure compliance with safety standards, regulations, and company policiesManage, coach, and direct crushing crew membersCoordinate equipment, materials, and resourcesTroubleshoot operational issues and optimize production efficiencyConduct daily reporting and communicate progress to managementQualifications:5+ years' experience in aggregate crushing operationsStrong leadership and communication skillsWorking knowledge of crushing equipment and heavy civil operationsCrushing ForemanSupervises daily work of the crushing crew and supports the superintendent in maintaining safe and efficient operations.Key Responsibilities:Direct daily tasks of operators, mechanics, and laborersConduct safety meetings and inspectionsAssist with equipment setup, adjustments, and troubleshootingMonitor production quality and outputMaintain accurate logs and documentationQualifications:3+ years' crushing or heavy equipment experienceAbility to lead a crew and prioritize tasksStrong commitment to safetyLoader OperatorsOperate front‐end loaders to feed the crusher, manage stockpiles, and support overall material handling.Key Responsibilities:Load material into crushers and screen plants safely and efficientlyManage stockpiles and maintain clean working areasPerform daily equipment inspectionsAssist with minor equipment maintenanceQualifications:* Experience operating large loaders in construction or mining* Ability to work in fast‐paced production environmentsCrusher MechanicsMaintain, repair, and troubleshoot crushing equipment to ensure minimal downtime and safe operation.Key Responsibilities:Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on crushers, conveyors, screens, and related equipmentPerform preventative maintenance and component replacementsInspect equipment daily to identify potential failuresAssist operators with machine adjustmentsQualifications:Mechanical experience with crushing or heavy industrial equipmentKnowledge of hydraulics, conveyors, and bearingsAbility to work in outdoor and rugged environmentsCrusher OperatorsOperate crushing and screening equipment to produce required aggregate specifications.Key Responsibilities:Operate crushers, screens, and conveyorsMonitor equipment performance and adjust settings as neededPerform routine maintenance and assist with plant setupEnsure material quality meets production requirementsQualifications:* Experience in aggregate crushing preferred* Mechanical aptitude and strong safety awarenessGeneral Requirements for All PositionsCommitment to safety as the #1 priorityAbility to work in outdoor, heavy civil construction environmentsReliable transportation and ability to work extended or variable hoursAbility to lift and carry heavy materials as neededTeam‐oriented attitude and strong communication skillsAmes Construction is an equal opportunity employer.
