Build dashboards and other visualizations within existing toolsets to make it easier for all stakeholders to interpret test results.\n\nProvide technical guidance to the test team comprised of Test Conductors, Vehicle Operators, Test Assistants\n\nLead the execution of vehicle and/or functional and performance test workstreams. (Define project priorities, tasks and coordinate activities, deliverables, schedules, and delegate work to support staff when necessary/appropriate.)\n\nMentor and train team members by providing guidance and training in testing methodologies, tools, and best practices to build team expertise\n\nCoordinate efforts to leverage external resources or expertise for comprehensive system validation testing\n\nUse simulation tools to model complex scenarios and test system behavior under various conditions, ensuring comprehensive validation of vehicle performance\n\nDiagnose and troubleshoot issues related to autonomous vehicle performance, including sensor discrepancies, software anomalies, and system integrations, to identify root causes and recommend solutions\n\nApply Waymo policies, procedures, standards, and code of conduct throughout\n\nSupport other general structured testing as needed\n\nAll other duties as assigned\n\nRequired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs):\n\nIn-depth knowledge of vehicle systems and subsystems\n\nAbility to travel (> 10%) and ability to travel on short notice\n\nDemonstrate concise and effective communication both verbally and in writing\n\nPossess operational skills and be knowledgeable with systems engineering processes\n\nBe organized, detail-oriented, and a fast learner\n\nWork independently in ambiguous conditions\n\nThrive in a fast-paced environment\n\nPhysical Requirements:\n\nRequired to talk, listen, and hear\n\nFrequently required to use repetitive hand motion, hands to finger, handle or feel, and to sit, stand, walk, reach, bend, regularly push, pull and lift up to 50 pounds;\n\nOccasionally climb stairs and/or ladders;\n\nMust use close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus; and\n\nMost work is accomplished outdoors.\n\nRequired Education and Experience:\n\nBachelors/ Masters Degree in a technical field (ME, EE, CS, Robotics, Controls, Aerospace)\n\n4+ years of systems test experience\n\nExperience with system engineering principles such as defining requirements and formal verification and validation methods\n\nTest scripting understanding/execution for in-vehicle test automation (including C/C++, Python, Matlab/Simulink)\n\nDemonstrated ability to interact with functional and technical counterparts to ensure system tests meet all required specifications\n\nDemonstrated communication and project management skills\n\nPre-Employment Requirements:\n\nAll Transdev employees must satisfactorily complete a pre-employment drug screen and pre-employment background check.\n\nApplicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire.
