Job Title Reporting and Analytics Senior Analyst Department Health Sciences | Government Resource Center Overview The Ohio Colleges of Medicine Government Resource Center (GRC) invites applications for a Reporting and Analytics Senior Analyst position in the Population Health and Quality Improvement Analytics section. A successful applicant will engage in applied health services and population health research in a project-based, team setting. Responsibilities Reporting and Analytics Senior Analysts primarily perform technical tasks, and in some cases contribute to project leadership and administration. They are expected to complete work independently on tasks with moderate complexity while assisting or completing advanced complexity tasks with appropriate assistance and oversight. They may work on 2-4 projects at a time. Typical responsibilities are project-specific and may include combinations of the following: Lead or assist with the development of and provide technical assistance for the development and coding of quality measures; Process, clean, and review Electronic Health Record (EHR) data received from clinical sites participating in quality improvement collaboratives; Analyze data including developing quantitative reports and visualizations with aggregated results of quality or population health metrics; Compose technical reports, manuals, and presentation materials; Present results in clear format to non-technical audiences; Review work products from subcontractors; Conduct literature searches and literature reviews; Assist with institutional review board (IRB) applications and other data governance requests; Design and execute linkage strategies for connecting administrative datasets; Work with data dashboards and address data quality issues (select projects may also require such work). Minimum Education Required Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent is required. Required Qualifications A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience with a bachelor’s degree or 2 years of relevant experience with an advanced degree in a relevant field of study is required. Requires successful completion of a background check. Selected candidate may be asked to complete a pre-employment physical including a drug screen. Additional Desired Qualifications Demonstrated usage of R, SAS, or SQL for data preparation and analysis. R coding experience is preferred. Experience processing and analyzing electronic health record data. Experience in quality improvement or population health research.
