If you are ready to support a high-performing team that truly makes a difference, then come join us!\nJob Description:\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nCollaborates with system users, requirements owners, and developmental contractors to translate operational requirements into software requirements, designs, and implementations.\nParticipates in planning, coordinating, scheduling, directing, and controlling engineering and technical support activities applicable to software development and integration of software tools/capabilities onto a variety of execution platforms.\nParticipates in the development and execution of software and system test strategies.\nReviews and assesses developmental contractor software code to ensure compliance with government-provided coding and cybersecurity standards.\nParticipates in government oversight of contractor software development activities, to include as a supporting team member in agile development paradigm activities (e.g., scrums, sprint retrospectives), developing software acceptance criteria, and generating recommendations to the government Assistant Product Manager regarding development, development planning, development/test automation tools, requirements prioritization, test, evaluation, cross-system integration, and fielding/delivery, and post-delivery support of software-based systems.\nProvides integrated, multi-disciplinary solution recommendations for resolution of technical problems.\nThe Lead Software Engineer shall possess the following capabilities:\nRequirements:\nMUST HAVE\nAbility to work on and lead multi-functional/multi-disciplinary teams.\nFamiliar with DoD 5000 acquisition lifecycle processes.\nExperience leading a “large team” (e.g. oversaw at least two agile teams).\nExperience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Scaled Agile Framework)\nExperience with DevOps tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Git).\nExperience with continuous integration and continuous delivery.\nExperience with Unix-based (e.g. RedHat, Ubuntu, etc.) and Windows Operating Systems.\nFamiliarity with Application Programming Interfaces.\nExperience with Ansible Playbooks.\nExperience with Python and/or Java development.\nExcellent communications skills including the ability to generate and deliver high-level technical briefings on complex topics to senior leaders.\nQualifications:\nMaster’s Degree in an Engineering or Information Technology discipline.\nFour (4) additional years and bachelor’s degree in lieu of a master’s degree or 8 additional years if no degree.\n10 years of direct experience with software development.\n3 years of experience managing software development teams.\n3 years in cyber or C4ISR systems.\nPosition requires active Security Clearance with appropriate Polygraph\nPay Range: 190,000-270,000\nThe RealmOne pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
