will assist with the day-to-day operational technology needs of educational environments including support for faculty, staff, administration, and students.Responsibilities include end-user support, Google Workspace support, Apple and Chromebook support, classroom technology troubleshooting, inventory and device lifecycle management, educational application support, AV assistance, and coordination with Eclipse engineering and cybersecurity teams.This role requires someone who is approachable, organized, technically capable, and comfortable operating within active educational environments while maintaining a high level of professionalism and customer service.Team Structure & SupportThis role operates as part of a larger Eclipse support structure and is not intended to function as a standalone IT department position.The onsite engineer will serve as an important operational presence within the educational environment while leveraging the depth, processes, and escalation capabilities of the broader Eclipse MSP organization.You will not be operating alone.ResponsibilitiesProvide onsite operational technology support within educational environmentsSupport Apple Mac environments and ChromebooksAssist with Google Workspace administration and supportTroubleshoot classroom technology and educational applicationsSupport printers, wireless connectivity, and endpoint devicesAssist with audiovisual (AV) and presentation technology issuesSupport educational events, presentations, and operational technology needsMaintain accurate inventory and asset management recordsAssist with device deployment, provisioning, and lifecycle managementSupport DNS filtering and web content filtering platformsAssist with educational technology systems including SIS platforms such as BlackbaudCoordinate escalations with Eclipse engineering and cybersecurity teamsDocument support activity within the Eclipse ticketing platformAssist with onboarding and offboarding usersSupport MFA enrollment, password resets, and account administrationPerform light network troubleshooting including wireless and switching issuesParticipate in occasional after-hours or weekend support related to educational operations and eventsPreferred ExperienceExperience in any of the following areas is considered a strong plus:K-12 or educational technology environmentsBlackbaud Student Information System (SIS)Google Workspace administrationJAMF or Apple device management platformsEducational SaaS platformsDNS and content filtering systemsSmart classroom systems and AV
