The Data Architect’s role is focused on TradeSmith's data warehouse (Snowflake), and all secondary data systems. They will be working closely with our research and product team, data scientists and marketing analysts. Their role will involve data ETL work with a focus on supporting the BI, marketing, and copy team's data needs. Experience in data manipulation within AWS will help accelerate this position. They will have the ability to work with Cloud Infrastructure tools as well as Python on the programming side.\nResponsibilities:\nWork with key executives from multiple teams to understand problems, identify opportunities and present findings\nEnhance and improve the data warehouse\nCreate ETL solutions to ensure that data is normalized and accessible at all times\nExtract the data required from the data warehouse (Snowflake) or other systems as needed, either through direct SQL extracts or other frameworks provided such as Looker, Tableau, etc.\nWork with the BI and data science team to support their data needs\nQualifications:\nBS or MS degree in Data Administration, Science, or related quantitative field\nMinimum 5 years’ work experience within Data Architecture role\nHighly proficient in SQL\nPython coding experience\nExcellent communication skills\nFinance Technology background preferred\nComfortable with shifting priorities and a fast-paced work environment\nSedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing\nVisual acuity for reading and using the computer\nAbility to hear\nAbility to freely move about the office or remote working environment\nAbility to use the phone/computer/keyboard/mouse/general office equipment for extended periods of time\nAbility to communicate with others in order to exchange information\nFluency in the English language\n\nAbout TradeSmith\n\nTradeSmith is the leading Wealth Tech division of MarketWise.
