Medical Assistant/ Phlebotomist Per Diem

Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have experience in medical terminology, providing vital signs, and EMR systems. Responsibilities: - Ensures all the necessary information and materials are present for clinician prior to the patient visits - Assist healthcare providers in patient examinations and procedures - Record patient medical history and vital signs accurately - Perform basic laboratory tests and procedures - Provide medical administrative support including scheduling appointments and maintaining patient records - Ensure compliance with infection control and patient safety protocols Experience: - Previous experience in a clinical setting preferred - Familiarity with medical terminology and procedures - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred - Bi-Lingual in Spanish is a plus Join our team of healthcare professionals dedicated to providing quality care to our patients.
