Responsibilities include assisting with commissioning planning, supporting Commissioning Technical Field Advisors, and serving as a key contributor to the Commissioning Services team as the focal point for all commissioning-related matters.\nCommissioning Engineer Responsibilities Review project contracts and documentation to support site commissioning teams.\nPlan, forecast, and schedule personnel and resources based on weekly project progress.\nSupport development and improvement of Standard Operating Procedures for commissioning activities.\nInterpret project drawings, P&IDs, process diagrams, and function diagrams for engineered systems.\nRefine field procedures for commissioning and startup activities in collaboration with the Project Support Management team.\nEnsure accurate, complete commissioning documentation and maintain internal commissioning check sheets.\nPromote teamwork across construction and commissioning teams and support Mitsubishi Power safety requirements.\nSupport development of procedures, maintain documentation standards, and participate in company training programs.\nWork effectively in a global environment to maintain up-to-date standards and practices.\nTravel up to 20% domestically and internationally and maintain a valid driver’s license and passport.\nCommissioning Engineer Requirements Bachelor’s degree in engineering or technical diploma with 5+ years of experience in power generation construction or commissioning; rotating equipment experience required. Or, based on the hiring manager’s decision a combination of work experience, education, and training, to meet the position requirements.\nUnderstanding of mechanical commissioning, testing, flushing, startup, and combined cycle thermodynamic principles.\nAbility to interpret technical procedures and write reports, procedures, and business communications; multilingual skills are beneficial.\nStrong analytical and problem solving skills with ability to interpret technical instructions and data.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, email, and related engineering tools.\nAbility to meet physical job requirements including climbing ladders, lifting 25–50 pounds, working in loud environments, at heights, in confined spaces, and in extreme weather.\nSystem One, and its subsidiaries including Joulé and Mountain Ltd., are leaders in delivering outsourced services and workforce solutions across North America.
