Job DescriptionSteel EstimatorLocation: Bay Area - Brentwood, CASteel Estimator Position Overview:We are seeking a detail-oriented Steel Estimator to support structural and miscellaneous steel fabrication and erection projects. This role involves preparing accurate cost estimates and contributing to successful project bidding and execution.Steel Estimator Key Responsibilities:Perpare estimates for structural and miscellaneous steel projectsAnalyze drawings, specifications, and bid documentsPerform material take-offs and labor cost calculationsCollaborate with project managers, vendors, and clientsSupport bid submissions and project handoffProject Steel Scope: Typical project sizes range from $50K to $500KSteel Estimator Qualifications:Experience in steel estimating, fabrication, or erectionStrong understanding of construction drawings and specificationsStrengths with miscellaneous projects is a plusProficiency in estimating software, Bluebeam, and MS ExcelExcellent attention to detail and organizational skillsGood communication internally and with clientsOnsite Work Requirement:Must be based in or willing to work in the Bay Area, CACompensation:Competitive salary based on experienceJoin a growing team and play a key role in delivering high-quality steel projects.
