Events Manager, TD Garden

The opportunity Delaware North Boston Holdings is hiring for an Events Manager to join our team at TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts. The Events Manager is responsible for compiling and communicating the event logistics distributed internally and externally for events booked at TD Garden. You will be the primary liaison with all departments for the successful execution of events at the venue. Pay Minimum - Anticipated Maximum Base Salary: $65,300 - $88,200 / year In addition to base salary, we offer an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. Serve as liaison between client, promoter, production and facility on all assigned eventsServe as liaison to all contractors, outside resources and departments as needed for assigned eventsProvide staffing levels for all contractors and departments needed for assigned eventProvide documentation and ensure correct billing from contractors for the settlement of all assigned events in a timely manner.Participate in event planning meetings for other departments as requiredDevelop and create event documents to communicate with all departments regarding operational needs and ensure that all requirements of the technical rider are met for all assigned eventsManage execution of outside service contracts for applicable areas relating to events as requiredNegotiate supplier and vendor contracts as requiredDevelop and maintain post event summary and correspondenceAssist in the process and tracking of the operations budget including the reconciliation of invoices, report processing and recommendationsAssist as required at internal building eventsConduct building toursProvide cost estimates for events as requiredOther duties as assigned More about you Minimum of 5 years of management experienceProven ability to develop, organize and communicate event documents for the staging of large-scale eventsEffective communicator in a high pressure, fast paced work environmentDemonstrated skill in providing high standards of quality service to internal and external stakeholdersMust be able to work a varied schedule including weekends, holidays, evenings, and early morningsProficiency with MS Office, Excel as well as the creation of financial documentsNo degree required Shift details Days Evenings Holidays Weekdays as needed 12hr shift M-F Events Who we are Delaware North purchased the historic Boston Garden in 1975 and later constructed its successor, TD Garden, and neighboring The Hub on Causeway, both of which we continue to own and operate.
