We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Converting Operations Supervisor to help lead our Converting Department and play a key role in our continued success.\n\nThis position is responsible for supervising and supporting multi-shift converting operations, including reclose packaging production, pouching operations, and zipper application production. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with manufacturing experience, a passion for continuous improvement, and the ability to build and develop high-performing teams.\n\nWhat You'll Do\nProduction & Operations Leadership\n\nSupervise and coordinate daily activities of converting operations personnel.\n\nAssist with material handling and ensure an adequate supply of materials for production.\n\nDevelop and maintain efficient workflow throughout the department.\n\nMonitor production performance and maintain accurate production reporting and documentation.\n\nSupport staffing requirements, vacation planning, and shift coverage.\n\nMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.\n\nQuality & Continuous Improvement\n\nEnsure achievement of department quality, productivity, safety, and production goals.\n\nPerform and oversee quality control testing and production data collection.\n\nCoordinate product trials, sample production, and development projects.\n\nIdentify opportunities to improve equipment performance, processes, and procedures.\n\nSupport food safety and SQF compliance initiatives, including audits, SOP adherence, and recall preparedness.\n\nTeam Development\n\nLead, coach, and develop employees to achieve department and company objectives.\n\nConduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback.\n\nSupport employee training and professional development initiatives.\n\nHandle employee relations matters fairly and consistently in accordance with company policies.\n\nWhat We're Looking For\nRequired Qualifications\n\nMinimum of 5 years of manufacturing supervision and/or plant engineering experience in an industrial environment.\n\nExperience leading manufacturing teams and driving operational performance.\n\nStrong organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills.\n\nMechanical aptitude with the ability to adjust, maintain, and improve converting equipment.\n\nQuality control and production testing experience.\n\nProficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.\n\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n\nExperience with web handling processes.\n\nKnowledge of printing, lamination, and slitting operations.\n\nExperience with GlobeTek or other manufacturing software systems.\n\nAbility to obtain forklift/tow motor certification.\n\nPhysical & Work Environment Requirements\n\nFrequent standing, walking, sitting, bending, stooping, reaching, and crouching.\n\nAbility to lift up to 60 pounds occasionally.\n\nMay occasionally work at heights or in confined spaces during equipment inspections or modifications.\n\nExposure to manufacturing environments, including machinery, noise, inks, and solvents, requiring the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).\n\nFlexibility to support other shifts as business needs require.\n\nWhy Join Us?\nWe're building for the future and looking for leaders who want to grow with us.
