You will be responsible for ensuring hardware deliveries to adhere to program schedules and budgets. You will take ownership of this process on exciting and fast-paced APU, CPU & GPU programs.\n\nTHE PERSON:\n\nYou are organized and detail-oriented, tracking and meeting deliverables with little supervision. You are adaptable with the ability to quickly learn new processes and workflows. You are collaborative and enjoy working with and building relationships with a broad range of people.\n\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:\n\nDrive prototype hardware manufacturing, procurement, & distribution to support APU/CPU/GPU programs\nWork closely with sourcing and fulfillment teams to track status of deliverables to ensure program milestones and budgets are met\nResolve issues as they arise to ensure smooth program execution\nCommunicate effectively with the program team, internal customers, and leadership about plans, status, and risk mitigation\nBuild a deep understanding of the complex hardware requirements for each program and act as a central source of information & guidance for broader teams\nOwn the strategy for collection & management of data related to prototype hardware supply and demand using internal tools\nCoordinate with internal engineering & program management teams to manage technical & schedule changes\nOpportunity to initiate and drive process improvements initiatives to improve overall execution of programs\n\nPREFERRED EXPERIENCE:\n\nProven experience driving programs in the computing industry\nHighly organized, strong attention to detail, ability to prioritize & balance multiple work streams to meet tight deadlines\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills\nStrong interpersonal, presentation, written and verbal communication skills\nAbility to build relationships and work effectively as a self-starter and as part of a team\nStrong knowledge of productivity and project tools including Confluence, Microsoft Office Suite & PowerBI\n\nACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:\n\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent\nFormal Project Management education; PMP certification/designation is a plus.\n\nThis role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.\n\n#LI-CB1\n\nQualifications:\n\nBenefits offered are described: AMD benefits at a glance.\n\nAMD does not accept unsolicited resumes from headhunters, recruitment agencies, or fee-based recruitment services.
