Working independently and collaboratively, this position ensures the integrity of premium reporting and contributes to ongoing operational and financial strategy through the use of advanced analytics and process improvement initiatives.\nESSENTIAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s Degree, or other related experience; at least one year of accounting experience with a Managing General Underwriter or Third-Party Administrator preferred.\nSKILLS/COMPETENCIES REQUIREMENTS:\nExcellent communication skills both verbal and written\nProficient in Microsoft Word and Excel\nExperience with Connexure ESL Office preferred\nPrior experience posting premium preferred\nExperience working with an access database in the generation of reporting\nExperience with Power BI preferred\nAbility to work effectively as part of a team or on individually assigned tasks in an environment where attention to detail and prioritization skills are essential\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\nInteract with internal teammates and external partners to ensure alignment on accounting issues\nCoordinate/communicate with other departments, variations in enrollment\nUtilize Microsoft Access and Power BI to develop and maintain dashboards and custom reports that support ongoing operational performance and transparency\nAnalyze and allocate monthly premium activity in Connexure ESL and ensure the accuracy and completeness of transactions in accordance with policyholder agreements\nPrepare and analyze monthly carrier bordereaux, cession reports, and premium remittance schedules, ensuring compliance with carrier and reinsurance requirements\nLead monthly premium reconciliation efforts, including variance analysis and reporting to internal finance leadership\nMaintain documentation of monthly premium remittance in Policyholder folder and in the Connexure ESL system\nFollow up on any outstanding correspondence and send out lapse notices when necessary\nProvide corporate treasury team monthly cash receipts for bank reconciliation and remitting of carrier funds\nIndependently investigate, research, and resolve complex reconciliation issues, escalating unresolved discrepancies and recommending corrective action as needed\nDrive operational efficiency initiatives that improve profitability and customer experience, lead practice of continual process improvement, and identify opportunities to outsource/automate repetitive functions successfully\nTravel: May be required for training and up to 5% on an annual basis.\nEqual Opportunity Employer\nThis employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
