CDL-A Yard Switchers | Average $1,450–$1,550 Weekly Gross
18 Months Verifiable CDL-A Experience Required
Predictable shifts. Tight-radius yard work. Strong weekly pay. Structured onsite switching with high daily activity, no-touch freight, and stable hours.
PAY
$1,450–$1,550 average weekly gross
$2,500 sign-on bonus
Hourly pay model
A Shift: $21/hr + $31.50/hr OT
B Shift: $23/hr + $34.50/hr OT
Weekend start premiums:
A Shift: $23/hr, $34.50/hr OT
B Shift: $25/hr, $37.50/hr OT
Overtime after 40 hours
48–60 hours/week
THE WORK
Onsite yard switching
37–70 trailer moves per shift
Under 1-mile hauls
No-touch freight
Drop & hook
10–12 hour shifts

SCHEDULE OPTIONS
A Shift: 5AM–5PM
B Shift: 5PM–5AM
Workweek options:
Sunday–Thursday
Tuesday–Saturday
Friday–Monday

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Valid CDL-A
18+ months experience + 150,000 miles driven
Clean MVR meeting FMCSA requirements
High school diploma or GED
