Our commitment to innovation drives us to create safer, lighter vehicles that minimize energy consumption and reduce environmental impact.\r\nJob Summary Stamping supervision of daily Press Room activities, including workforce allocation and scheduling of production. Assist the Business Unit Manager Press in ensuring all targets related to Safety, Quality and Productivity are met or exceeded.\r\nDuties and Responsibilities Process manufacturing orders through SAP\r\nCoordinate with freight providers to provide shipping details and updates\r\nCollaborate with customers to ensure uninterrupted service during material shortages\r\nMonitor inventory for accuracy\r\nSchedule stamping lines based on available material and assembly needs for all shifts\r\nMonitor data flow for KPI's (Captor, Power BI)\r\nDaily supervision of all Press Shop personnel\r\nImplementation of \"World Class\" manufacturing policies and procedures\r\nStrong stamping and assembly experience\r\nEffective communication skills, both written and oral\r\nSupport in related areas of the environmental management system\r\nAdditional Responsibilities Health and safety of all subordinates including any sub-contractor working in the area of responsibility\r\nSupports the operational performance metrics relating to Safety, Quality, Cost and Delivery and helps ensure all targets are met or exceeded\r\nProduction data collection and reporting using MRP system\r\nSupports and contributes to the annual operating plan regarding performance and cost expectations\r\nKnow and enforce health, safety, and environmental rules\r\nSeek to reduce safety risks, with support from the safety team\r\nKnow the health, safety and environmental procedures in your area and make sure to apply them\r\nEducation and Experience Press Shop experience is a MUST\r\nPress tooling background would be desirable\r\nStrong knowledge in SAP, setting up new materials\r\nKnowledge, Skills and Abilities At least 5 years' experience within the Automotive Industry showing a steady career progression\r\nA minimum of 3 years in a managerial position\r\nA good understanding of \"Lean Manufacturing\" concepts\r\nDecision Making\r\nLeadership Performance\r\nDeveloping People\r\nDirecting People\r\nPhysical and Mental Requirements of the Position Specific vision abilities: close vision, distance vision, colour vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus\r\nFrequently required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to manage, manipulate or feel objects, tools or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, talk and hear\r\nOccasional lifting or moving of up to 50 pounds\r\nExposure to weather conditions prevalent at the time\r\nNoise level in the work environment is usually moderate\r\nThe ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences\r\nThe ability to communicate information and ideas in speaking so others will understand\r\nAbout Us We are a multi-technology company present in over 20 countries with a team of over 40,000 made up of 90 different nationalities.
