Determines method of construction, safety procedures and requirements, manpower levels, material quantities, equipment, temporary power sources, work schedule and documents actual hours worked.\r\nOversee all precision of rotating and static equipment.\r\nCoordinates assigned work with different crafts, company departments and/or other contractors.\r\nMaintains liaison with safety department, engineering, estimating and planning to ensure work complies with safety policies, drawings, specifications and schedules.\r\nAssists in resolving construction problems and safety issues, as required.\r\nsupports with estimates and proposal development.\r\nConducts accident investigations with safety department, as required.\r\nMaintains communication with the HR Department to resolve issues of requisitioning required manpower.\r\nMonitors craft compliance with project safety program requirements. Documents and ensures corrective measures are implemented.\r\nMaintains liaison with other departments (Material Control, Purchasing, Quality Control, and Engineering) to ensure all required materials, equipment, inspections, etc., support craft activities and project schedule.\r\nConducts field safety audits, as required, and maintains a complete understanding of Corporate Safety Manual and requirements.\r\nPerforms additional responsibilities, as directed.\r\nQualifications6+ years' experience in similar facility, including construction technology, methods, equipment, tools, and work procedures; 1+ years' experience supervising craft employees.\r\n4-year engineering degree or equivalent combination of technical training and experience.\r\nAdvanced understanding of construction scheduling cost control.\r\nAbility to supervise large groups.\r\nDemonstrated ability to apply innovative and effective management techniques to maximize performance.\r\nExcellent oral and written communication skills; good computer skills including MS Word and Excel.Must be able to conduct job walks and document thorough, accurate observations.Ability to estimate tasks and work in excel spreadsheets.\r\nFull-time employees are offered a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental and vision plans covering eligible employees and dependents, disability benefits, life and AD&D insurance, an employee assistance program (EAP), a 401(k) plan with company match, an employee stock purchase plan (ESPP), a robust wellness program and adoption assistance.
