Education Required:BA/BSUS Citizenship:RequiredSummaryThe MIL Corporation seeks a Procurement Specialist (Procurement, Analyst) to support a Federal Government client at our Arlington, VA location. As a member of the Systems Development and Maintenance (SDM) team, the Procurement Specialist will support procurement operations, vendor coordination and administrative office functions. The Procurement Specialist will assist with procurement tracking, purchase request coordination, reporting, and vendor communication while also supporting day-to-day office operations and administrative support activities.This position currently requires an on-site schedule. Schedule is subject to change based on company/contract requirements.This position is currently unfunded and is being posted in anticipation of a future contract award and funding approval. We are proactively identifying and engaging with qualified candidates. While candidates may be contacted for pre-screening, any hiring decisions will be contingent upon funding availability and final program requirements or client approval.ResponsibilitiesAssist with preparation and routing of procurement requests and supporting documentationPerform data entry and maintain procurement tracking spreadsheets, logs, and status reportsDraft procurement-related correspondence, follow-up emails, and internal communicationsCoordinate with vendors and stakeholders to obtain quotes, documentation, and procurement updatesSupport purchase order tracking, invoice coordination, and procurement records managementMaintain organized electronic procurement files and documentation repositoriesHelp track procurement timelines, deliverables, and action itemsSupport asset tracking and inventory documentation activities as neededCoordinate software license assignments and maintain accurate tracking records for IT assets and licensesAssist with reporting and process improvement initiativesTravelNoneRequired Qualifications0-3 years of relevant experience in procurement, administration, operations, or office supportAbility to work independently while collaborating across teamsAbility to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environmentExcellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong organizational skills and attention to detailProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)Desired QualificationsExperience supporting procurement or contract-related activitiesFamiliarity with IT software, hardware, or the software development lifecycleEducationBachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Engineering or a related field.ClearanceAbility to obtain Top Secret clearanceCompensationThe MIL Corporation values your contributions and offers a range of benefits to support your overall well-being. This estimate represents the typical salary range and is just one part of MIL's complete compensation package.
