We are looking for an experienced, and reliable asphalt/prep Crew Leader who can be trusted to run a job independently, whether on the prep side or paving side. This role is for someone who has a positive attitude, can problem-solve in real time, manage people and equipment, and get quality work done without constant oversight. What we’re looking for: Proven experience in asphalt paving and/or site prep min 5 years, must have experience with a job in this position currently or within the past. Compensation and perks are structured based on experience, job performance, and company needs. If applying for the paving side must have a strong understanding of running screws on the paver; grades, and overall production of the job site. knowledge of ordering material and assisting in keeping trucks loading. if applying for the prep side must have experience running bobcats, backhoes, and graders/dozers. effectively check grade/ptich with levels and laser levels measure and order materials as needed. This position will begin with a trial period to ensure the role is a good fit on both sides. The expectation is that the individual can perform the work, lead effectively, and follow through on what they say they can do. If the trial period goes well, we can revisit the role and discuss overall compensation and additional perks based on performance and responsibility. *Desired pay and opportunity for additional perks and benefits will be discussed upon interview. This position may be seasonal. However, for candidates with mechanical ability, winter work is available and may include equipment maintenance, repairs, and participation in snow removal operations.
