The candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement scalable, efficient, and secure solutions that support various backend functions and ensure seamless integration with other systems.\r\nRequirements\r\nU.S Citizenship required.\r\nMust be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.\r\nThis position is remote but may require occasional onsite meetings in McLean, VA.\r\nYou can be based out of following states: AZ, DC, FL, GA, OH, ME, MD, SC, TX, UT, VA, NC, OK, WV.\r\nQualifications And Experience\r\nBachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.\r\nAt least 8 years of relevant experience in batch processing and middleware development.\r\nProficiency with legacy technologies including JSP, Spring, and Apache Struts in batch-oriented environments.\r\nHands-on experience with Oracle WebLogic and Oracle batch jobs, including shell scripting (Unix/Linux) for job execution and automation.\r\nExperience with HL7 and flat-file processing, file transfer workflows, and scheduled job orchestration using cron or Quartz.\r\nFamiliarity with WebLogic batch/middleware integrations and queue-based workflows.\r\nExperience with source control and CI/CD processes, including Git/GitHub for version control and Jenkins or equivalent tools for pipeline execution.\r\nExceptional communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.\r\nStrong attention to detail and analytical skills.\r\nAbility to work independently and manage multiple priorities.\r\nPreferred Qualifications\r\nExperience with cloud-based services.\r\nKnowledge of microservices architecture and containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.\r\nFamiliarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.\r\nResponsibilities\r\nBatch Processing Development\r\nDesign, develop, and maintain robust batch processing solutions to support enterprise applications.\r\nEnsure batch processes are scalable, secure, and maintainable.\r\nImplement and troubleshoot batch jobs for data processing, transformation, and integration.\r\nMiddleware Systems Management\r\nDevelop, configure, and maintain middleware solutions to support application integration and communication.\r\nEnsure middleware systems are optimized for performance, security, and reliability.\r\nWork with various middleware technologies including but not limited to IBM WebSphere, Apache Kafka, and MuleSoft.\r\nDatabase Management\r\nDesign, implement, and maintain database structures to support batch processing and middleware solutions.\r\nOptimize database queries and manage data storage solutions.\r\nSystem Integration\r\nIntegrate batch processing and middleware solutions with various internal and external data sources and applications.\r\nEnsure seamless data flow and interoperability between systems.\r\nCoordinate with other teams to understand and fulfill integration requirements.\r\nTesting And Debugging\r\nConduct unit and integration testing for batch processing and middleware components.\r\nTroubleshoot and debug issues to ensure the highest level of quality.\r\nDocumentation And Best Practices\r\nCreate and maintain comprehensive documentation for batch processing and middleware solutions.\r\nFollow best practices in development, including code versioning and repository management.\r\nContinuous Improvement\r\nStay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies related to batch processing and middleware.\r\nOptimize system performance and enhance functionality based on user feedback and usage patterns.\r\nCollaboration And Coordination\r\nWork closely with program management and other stakeholders to ensure requirements are understood and implemented.\r\nParticipate in code reviews, team meetings, and project planning sessions.\r\nCompensation And Benefits\r\nAt NDi, we value our team and are committed to retaining top talent by offering competitive benefits and compensation packages.
