Actively engages and supports direct reports in discussions around personal and career development.\nWorkflow – Prioritizes and manages direct reports’ engineering, quotation, order entry, expediting, and shop production activities to ensure internal and external deadlines are met and quality standards are achieved.\nSales Effectiveness - Provides coaching to direct reports to ensure \"Solution Selling\" strategies are employed and business unit sales and profitability goals are met.\nResponsibilities:\nModels and supports Applied Control’s Vision, Core Values, and Objectives.\nEstablishes and manages account coverage guidelines to balance workflow, maximize the strengths of direct reports, and meet or exceed customer expectations.\nDemonstrates ability to build high morale and group commitment of Final Control team members to company goals and objectives.\nExhibits interest and understanding of Applied Control’s customers and markets.\nConducts regular cadence and performance appraisal meetings to support personal development and growth of direct reports.\nParticipates in the hiring and onboarding of new employees including recruiting, interviewing and implementing technical / sales training programs.\nAssists in managing relationships with Applied Control’s principal manufacturers including submitting regular reports and supporting annual review meetings.\nAssists in developing and implementing programs to support Applied Control’s and principal manufacturers’ business initiatives.\nDevelops and refines tools and work practices to ensure delivery of clean orders and instructions to the shop and warehouse.\nDevelops and refines tools and work practices to ensure delivery of clean orders and instructions to the Customer Order Specialists.\nMonitors and manages inventory to ensure high levels of customer service and efficient use of company capital.\nSkills/Qualifications:\nB.S. Engineering strongly preferred.\nTechnical knowledge of valves and instrumentation.\nDemonstrated ability to lead a sales team and understanding of Solution Selling principles.\nDemonstrated leadership ability.\nExcellent interpersonal and written communication skills.\nExcellent organizational skills.\n1 -5 years people management required.\nWorking Conditions: Entails mostly work in an office environment with some shop activities.\nCompensation:\nSalary: $75,600-124,200, dependent on relevant job-related and industry experience.
