This leading organization is on the hunt for a dedicated Financial Controller to join their team. This role is essential in maintaining accurate financial records, performing month-end close activities, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working in the manufacturing industry.The Controller is responsible for leading day-to-day accounting operations and ensuring accurate, timely financial reporting. This role manages the accounting team, oversees internal controls and SOX compliance, and serves as the primary liaison with corporate accounting. Key responsibilities include preparing financial statements, presenting results to leadership, managing AP, AR, billing, credit approvals, payroll review, inventory accounting, budgeting, forecasting, capital expenditures, and external audit coordination. The Controller also supports process improvements, risk mitigation, and provides backup support for key finance functions as needed.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance CPA is preferredController-level experienceManagement/Supervisory experienceStrong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, internal controls, SOX, and complianceAdvanced Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft OfficeExperience with various ERP systems such as SAP, NetSuite, MS Dynamics, Oracle, Epicor, etc.This established organization offers an excellent benefits package including MDV, STD, LTD, Life, Vacation, Paid holidays, matching 401k and more. Salary up to $180,000 plus Bonus.
