This role is responsible for preparing and administering radioactive materials, ensuring patient safety and comfort, operating advanced imaging technology, and maintaining radiation safety standards across multiple outpatient imaging locations.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform PET and Nuclear Medicine imaging procedures according to physician orders and departmental protocolsPrepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals safely and accuratelyOperate PET/CT and Nuclear Medicine imaging equipmentMonitor patients throughout imaging procedures and ensure patient comfortMaintain radiation safety and infection control standardsPerform quality assurance and equipment checks as requiredDocument patient information and imaging procedures accuratelyCollaborate with radiologists and healthcare staff to ensure quality patient careFloat between multiple outpatient imaging locations as neededAdhere to all department and facility safety protocolsEducation & Experience RequirementsNJDEP State License requiredCPR certification requiredARRT(CT) or NMTCB/CT Fusion Modality certification requiredARRT(N) or NMTCB(N) certification requiredMinimum of 2 years of PET / Nuclear Medicine experience preferredExperience operating PET/CT imaging equipment preferredCore CompetenciesStrong patient care and communication skillsAttention to detail and image qualityCritical thinking and problem-solvingAbility to work independently and within a teamAdaptability and flexibility between locationsStrong organizational and time management skillsCommitment to radiation safety standardsPhysical / Work Environment RequirementsAbility to stand and move throughout imaging departments for extended periodsFrequent operation of imaging and computer equipmentAbility to assist and position patients during proceduresExposure to radiopharmaceuticals and specialized imaging equipmentAbility to work in fast-paced outpatient imaging environmentsMedical Solutions Direct Hire Job ID #998406.About Medical Solutions Direct HireAt Medical Solutions, we're people who care, helping people who care.
