{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"6026a588bb4c01c6672836da","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/6026a588bb4c01c6672836da","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/6026a588bb4c01c6672836da","title":"CNC Controls Engineer","description":"Hello,\nHope you’re doing well!\n\nThis is *Kalpesh *from *Technosoft Engineering Solutions Inc.*We have an urgent requirement for one of Direct clients.\n\nPlease go through the job description below and revert with your updated resume.\n\n*Position: CNC Controls Engineer*\n\n*Location: Farmington Hills, MI.*\n\n*Responsibilities:*\n\n· Write complex CNC and PLC programs for machine tools\n\n· Design and layout of new electrical and CNC control systems for retrofit and remanufacture of machine tools and specialized machines\n\n· Assist with the construction of complex detailed bills of materials\n\n· Instruct and support electrical technicians, electrical engineers, sales engineers, and customers as required\n\n· Document preliminary and finalized CNC and PLC programs\n\n· Work closely with electrical technicians to ensure a safe and reliable control system for all machines\n\n· Research and develop new and improved control systems and products\n\n· Assist in all aspects of the business that are electrical and control related\n\n· Design and layout of high voltage schematics and I/O\n\n· Write and repair high-level ladder circuits, structured text programs, and parametric programs\n\n· Assist with final troubleshooting of all electrical and control systems\n\n· Assist Purchasing with ordering of CNC control packages\n\n· Daily dealings with management, engineers, inspectors, and electrical technicians\n\n· Other duties as assigned\n\n· Able to travel to customer sites for project related work\n\n*Qualifications:*\n\n· Bachelors, Associates Degree, or technical training in Electrical Engineering or related curriculum\n\n· Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and CNC related software\n\n· Strong background in Siemens and/or Fanuc Control Systems (or others) with working knowledge of old and new CNC systems.
