This involves planning, coordinating, and designing IT-related activities, providing administrative direction and support for daily operations, defining implementing IT policies, procedures, and best practices. Management may assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time due to reasonable accommodation or other reasons.\r\nAssist the IT department's operational and strategic planning, including fostering innovation, planning projects, and organizing and negotiating the allocation of resources.\r\nManage the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, upgrade, and support of all IT systems, including telecommunications, servers, PCs, operating systems, hardware, software, peripherals, and Office Automation equipment.\r\nBenchmark, analyze, report on, and make recommendations for the improvement and growth of the IT infrastructure and IT systems.\r\nKeep current with the latest technologies.\r\nDevelop and implement all IT policies and procedures, including those for architecture, security, disaster recovery, standards, purchasing, and service provision.\r\nPractice asset management for IT hardware, software, and equipment.\r\nManage daily backups.\r\nEstablish and maintain regular written and in-person communications with the organization's executives, department heads and end users regarding pertinent IT activities.\r\nAssists associates with questions on product installation, usage, and implementation.\r\nResponds to and investigates team inquiries, concerns, and issues via phone, mail, and e-mail in a timely and courteous manner.\r\nAnswers team inquiries and provides appropriate technical and/or product-related information.\r\nResearches and resolves team complaints with regards to IT matters.\r\nEffectively communicates team IT issues and concerns to all applicable internal staff members.\r\nOrganizes and maintains file system, files correspondence and other records.\r\nMaintains working knowledge of products and/or services.\r\nPrepares reports and correspondence as needed.\r\nSet-up and maintain computer equipment.\r\nMay perform other duties as assigned or necessary.\r\nWhat You'll Need:\r\nBachelor's degree and a minimum of two years related experience or equivalent.\r\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.\r\nProficiency in Microsoft Office programs including Excel, Word, and Outlook, PowerPoint, Access, Office365, SharePoint.\r\nAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written and oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving few concrete variables in standardized situations.
