Meets fiscal objectives.\n\nRecruits, hires, trains, evaluates and supervises assigned staff and volunteers in assigned areas. Provides development and leadership.\n\nCompiles program statistics and provides data and reports as required for assigned program(s). Monitors and evaluates the effectiveness of and participation in program(s).\n\nProvides leadership and support for branch management team, annual fund raising campaign, and volunteer committees/boards as assigned.\n\nDevelops and maintains collaborative relationships with community organizations, schools and agencies related to assigned programs.\n\nDevelops, produces and distributes program information necessary to promote assigned programs, in accordance with branch marketing plans.\n\nEnsures that safety procedures are followed and that all programs are in compliance with YMCA standards, all relevant regulations and other applicable standards.\n\nEnsures high quality programs through innovative program development evaluations and ongoing training of staff.\n\nEnsures upkeep of related facilities and equipment.\n\nPhysical Demands\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Forty-five (45) or more college credits in programming related to child development preferred.\n\nTwo years or more years of experience with staff and volunteer supervision, program development, budget management.\n\nExperience and knowledge with youth behavior management and child abuse prevention.\n\nWe require pre-employment TB tests and MMR vaccination.
