CDL (Class B) Driver

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Drive (under both the DOT regulations and in the opinion of the company); safely operate heavy equipment; safely walk and stand for extended periods on various surfaces that may be uneven or slippery; operate a truck for up to 8 consecutive hours, in all types of weather, while safely transporting non-hazardous materials; and safely walk, reach (including above your head), bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat & kneel as necessary to perform the job duties. Perform vehicle inspections required under section 396.13 of the Federal Motor Carriers Safety Regulations. All candidates for hire must be physically fit. Ability to work outdoors. Lift up to 70 lbs. repetitively. Maintain a current Class B CDL with Air Brakes Endorsement. Operate and maintain records per Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSR), Department of Transportation (DOT), and company policies as required. Provide service excellence to customers, including generating sales leads to appropriate personnel. Able to work a flexible schedule for as many as 10-12 hours daily. Prompt, daily attendance at the assigned work location. Perform other duties as assigned. Required Skills: Possess and maintain a valid Class B Commercial Driver's License. Safe driving record and history. Pass DOT drug test and have no prior positive tests or refusals. Pass a company-paid DOT physical. Pass a company-paid Post Offer Pre-Hire screen (physical essential functions) test. Additional Information: If interested, you must be able to drive a Kenworth T800 Eaton Fuller 8 Speed Manual Transmission.
