At Children's Hospital Association, we unite more than 200 member hospitals to put children first-advancing care, informing policy, and driving progress together.\nWhere You'll Work\nThis position is based in our Lenexa, KS office. We leverage a hybrid working model working three days in the office, two days optional remote work.\nWhat You'll Do\nThe Front-End Web Developer will play a key role in implementing new site designs and features, while also owning the development of marketing microsites and internal web applications. Operating within the Brand Communications team, this role is central to delivering an exceptional user experience by developing intuitive, high-performing, and accessible web interfaces.\nDevelop accessible, responsive websites for all users and function seamlessly across multiple devices and browsers.\nCollaborate with designers and other developers to translate UI/UX designs and wireframes into clean, efficient, and well-documented code.\nImplement new website designs, features, and functionality to enhance user engagement and experience.\nOptimize web applications for maximum speed and scalability.\nTroubleshoot and debug technical issues, including implementations, performance and functionality, to ensure a smooth user experience.\nParticipate in architecture and design discussions with cross-functional team members.\nParticipate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.\nStay current with emerging technologies, trends, and advancements in the digital experience platform space.\n\nExperience and Skills:\nWhat You'll Bring to CHA\nAny combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge is qualifying.\nA Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.\nMinimum of 5 years of experience designing, developing, and supporting customer-facing websites and applications, with a strong focus on hands-on coding with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.\nExperience in developing websites using front-end JavaScript frameworks like React, Angular, or similar.\nExperience working with headless CMS platforms, especially Uniform.\nStrong familiarity with deployment and development workflows using the Vercel platform.\nStrong understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility.\nExperience migrating and managing content across modern CMS platforms; prior experience with Sitecore is beneficial but not required.\nFamiliarity with search technologies like Sitecore Search, Elasticsearch, Solr or Coveo.\nExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.\nCertification in Uniform or relevant headless CMS platforms is highly preferred.\nOur Perks and Benefits:\nCompetitive total compensation package\nMedical, dental and vision insurance\nRetirement Savings program with generous company contribution\nHybrid working model\nHealth Savings Account with company contribution\nWellness program\nPaid time off and personal days\n9 paid holidays\nPaid Parental Leave\nAnd more!\nMore About CHA\nThis pay range shown is a guideline.
