With 85+ locations across the country, Meyer services dealers nationwide. Meyer Logistics is a transportation company that serves as the backbone of Meyer Distributing's shipping network. Meyer Distributing & Logistics are driven to performcome join our team today!\r\nThe Shipping Processor is responsible for pulling and processing Third Party Orders, including preparing product for shipping via UPS, Fed Ex, LTL, and occasionally our own Meyer Logistics trucks.\r\nHourly Rate for Shipping Processor:\r\n$16.50/hr with multiple opportunities for increases in pay\r\nSchedule:\r\nMonday - Friday: 7:00 am - 5:00 pm\r\nPreferred Experience for Shipping Processor:\r\nEducation/Certification: High School graduate or equivalent preferred.\r\nExperience: Prior warehouse or shipping experience preferred.\r\nMust be able to operate equipment.\r\nForklift and Manlift (Cherry Picker) experience preferred.\r\nShipping Processor duties include but are not limited to:\r\nBasic computer skills and knowledge of our WMS software\r\nPull and process Third Party Orders\r\nScans product using handheld scanners\r\nVerifies and prints correct labeling\r\nPlaces packing slips on product packages or on box\r\nUses banding equipment on product if needed\r\nStages product for shipping in proper location for UPS/Fed Ex/LTL/truck shipments\r\nKeeps warehouse and work area clean and organized at all times\r\nWears protective toed shoes and works in a safe manner at all times\r\nEnsure Box machine and Shipping areas are clean and neat before leaving EOD\r\nAll other duties as assigned\r\nBenefits for Shipping Processor:\r\nMedical\r\nVision\r\nDental\r\nDisability\r\nLife Insurance\r\n401K with Company Match\r\nPaid Vacation\r\nPaid Holidays\r\nPersonal Days Available\r\nUp to Employee Discount\r\nCasual Dress CodeSteel Toed Boots or Shoes REQUIRED\r\nSteel Toed Boots or Shoes Reimbursement up to $50\r\nHealth Savings Account\r\nTuition Reimbursement Options Available\r\nRequirements for Shipping Processor:\r\nAbility to give special attention to detail required.
