CT Tech Job Title: CT Tech Profession: CT Tech Specialty: Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: SC Rad Tech license Certifications: ARRT, BLS, CT certification preferred Must-Have: ARRT Rad Tech Certification, SC Rad Tech License, CT certification preferred, BLS Description: The unit is a free-standing emergency department. There is one CT/RAD Tech per shift. The patient ratio averages 10-20 CT radiology exams per shift. The type of equipment includes a GE 64 Slice CT, GE Digital X-ray, and GE portable X-ray. The documentation system utilized is Meditech. There are call requirements of 2 call shifts per month. The typical procedures performed include routine CT and diagnostic X-ray procedures for a small free-standing emergency department. CT experience and knowledge are required. The work environment is fast-paced. Candidates must be proficient in both CT and diagnostic radiology. The dress code requires charcoal gray scrubs.
