Maintenance Technician

Maintenance Technician: this role is responsible for maintaining & repairing the production equipment, Facility systems, and (on occasion) facility grounds. This position directly reports to the Maintenance Supervisor. This role is in constant interaction with Manufacturing Engineers and Production Management to ensure that all work is performed on a timely basis and in an efficient and safe manner. This position will also be involved with improvement activities from capital projects to product launches, lean, and kaizen events. Maintains and repairs various assembly and processing equipment (mostly highly automated PLC controlled assembly lines, others being hydraulic presses/kitting operations).Must have working understanding of mechanics and pneumatics with experience in basic fabrication and power tools.Must have experience using a computer; sending emails, and excel sheetsMust be able to troubleshoot and read schematics for pneumatic, electrical, and hydraulic equipment.Curiosity, a calm demeanor, and dependability are the top habits we are looking for.Responsible for keeping work area clean and safe.Responsible for communicating information on jobs performed either manually or electronically (i.e.- Preventative, Predictive maintenance, shift handoff notes).Helps plan and implement Safety/OEE/production related improvementsPerforms preventive maintenance and troubleshoots machinery and equipment.
