Project Manager (NETA / Electrical Testing)
Job DescriptionJob SummaryThe Field Service Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing electrical testing projects in compliance with NETA standards. This role serves as the primary liaison between customers, field technicians, and internal teams, ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget.Key ResponsibilitiesManage electrical testing projects from award through completionCoordinate scheduling, staffing, equipment, and travel for field crewsServe as the primary point of contact for customers and stakeholdersEnsure all testing is performed in compliance with NETA ATS/MTS standardsReview and approve test reports, documentation, and deliverablesMonitor project budgets, labor hours, and cost controlsSupport field technicians with technical guidance and problem resolutionEnforce safety programs, including NFPA 70E and company safety policiesIdentify change orders, scope changes, and project risksSupport continuous improvement in field service operationsQualificationsEducation & CertificationsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (preferred)NETA Level II or III Certification preferredOSHA 30 and NFPA 70E required or preferredExperience5+ years in electrical testing, power systems, or field service operations2+ years of project management experienceExperience managing medium and low voltage testing projectsSkills & CompetenciesStrong project planning and organizational skillsExcellent customer communication and leadership abilitiesWorking knowledge of electrical testing equipment and proceduresAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyProficient with project tracking and reporting tools
