We owe our success to the quality of our employees, our strong commitment to safety, and our superior service to customers.\nKey Business Objectives: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Accounting Manager to oversee the day-to-day financial operations of our company. This position will be responsible for all aspects of accounting, from managing the general ledger and subledger reconciliations to preparing financial statements and reports and will also play a key role in ensuring compliance with US GAAP, SOX internal controls, policies of the company, and maintaining the integrity of our financial data.\nDuties and Responsibilities: Oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including general ledger and supervising accountants.\nDevelop and implement accounting policies and procedures in accordance with US GAAP.\nMonitor and analyze department work to maintain and develop efficient procedures and use of resources while maintaining a high level of accuracy.\nAdvise staff regarding the handling of routine and non-routine transactions.\nManage and lead the accounting team including training and performance evaluations.\nSupervise and participate in the monthly close process, including review account analyses and reconciliations of balance sheet accounts and preparation/review of various journal entries.
